Welcome

We supply a starter set of products such as toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. It is up to the renter to purchase more if you run out. We will supply dish soap, hand soap, and dish detergent.

Board games, puzzles, and cards are located in the lower built-in to the left of the TV and on the bookshelf in the master bedroom.

We supply propane for the grill. You are welcome to purchase more if you run out!

There is a wood burning fireplace and an outdoor fire pit. Firewood is provided in the cooler months and is located to the right of the outdoor fire pit.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. We provide pots, pans, bakeware, cookware, and utensils. There is a drip Mr. Coffee machine. If there is something you are missing, please let us know and we will do our best to get it for you.

Please be respectful of the kitchen equipment and treat it as your own. If you break something, please let us know. Please wash all used dishes, either by hand or using the dishwasher, prior to check out. Please take all food items out of the pantry, cabinets, and fridge/freezer (except condiments).

We provide all linens, towels, 6 beach towels (the beach towels are your responsibility to wash/dry/fold before check out, please) and bedding. The spare linens are located in the master closet.

The air mattress is located in the second master bedroom closet along with its linens. If you use the queen air mattress, please deflate it and put it back in the closet neatly.

We provide Smart TV’s with access to streaming channels such as Netflix and ATT Now. You have full access to hundreds of shows, movies, and even podcasts. We ask that if you use your personal login information on any of our devices, that you log out prior to checking out. We are not responsible if you leave your account logged in. Please do not change any settings on our smart devices.

There is a washer and dryer in the home. We provide laundry detergent. If you use the washer and dryer please be mindful of how much detergent you use. Please clean the lint trap in the dryer after every use as it can be a fire hazard if not cleaned after every cycle.

We are happy to host up to TWO furry family members with approval prior to check in. We do ask that you not allow pets on the furniture or bedding.

Please clean up after your pet. This includes all toys, waste, food, and pet hair. We ask that you use your own or the pet waste bags that we provide to clean up after your fur baby. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE NEIGHBORHOOD PET WASTE BAGS!!!

Please rinse your pet off after playing in the lake and/or beach.

Our cleaning staff strives to make sure the property is in pristine condition for all of our guests and will charge an additional cleaning fee if there is excessive pet hair or pet waste left behind.

There is one paddleboard and two kayaks on the far side of the boathouse. Please put them upside down in the rack when not in use. The life vests are hanging in the boathouse, right side. We keep them hanging to not mildew.

IMPORTANT: If you bring your own boat on a trailer, you can park the trailer in the grassy area at the top of the driveway by the mailbox instead of the driveway!!

The trash cans are 20 feet down the driveway at the fork. (We leave the trash cans there because the trash company will not come down the driveway to collect the trash.) We do not have recycling bins. Please bag all trash. Trash Pick up is every Wednesday.

As a reminder, check out is at 10 am. Our cleaning team will arrive promptly at 10:10 am to begin preparing the home for the next guest.

Check Out Steps:

1. Leave bed as you just rolled out of them

2. Leave towels on bathroom floors (beach towels are for the renter to wash/dry/fold before checkout)

3. Check all drawers/closets for clothing items

4. If you moved any furniture, please return to the place you found it

5. Load dishwasher and run; Wash up any stray dishes, pots or pans

6. Clean out the fridge of all food

7. Take all trash to the outside trash cans

8. All lake toys and outdoor equipment should be put back where they belong. Kayaks/boats are turned upside down on the rack.

Please be sure that you have packed all of your belongings. When you are ready to check out, simply send us a message letting us know you have vacated and lock the door behind you when you leave.
